I never want to be the person who wakes up going to a job they hate

I don’t understand why people settle for bullshit. We can all amount to something great, but most people just can’t picture themselves being anywhere than where they already are. Why is that? Did bills and responsibilities hit them so hard that they’ve come to the conclusion that there is nothing left to gain? The best day is pay day? What kind of life is that? What happened to all those dreams you had when you were younger? How could you sit back and let someone else take your spot? I see it as you can continue to live the way you are, working and praying for a pay raise just so you can make it through life, or aim for something less comfortable but has a better pay off now and later. Because nothing beats the thrill of risks and carving one’s own destiny the way they want it. You put in 40+ hrs a week doing some low-skilled job that will most likely be replaced by robots between 10-20 years. So what exactly are you doing? Ask yourself that. Strive to live the way you want. It’s worth the struggle.
