If someone wants you in their life, they'll put you there...right?

But I guess...realistically it's not that easy for some people. It's a matter of IF they have the courage to overcome this fear that is stopping them from letting you be apart of their life. This is something new that I've come to understand and simply put, it's sad. Some people become so damaged that they would rather be in solitude, running away, hiding from this fear of becoming attached. Because with attachment comes the risk of having to let go.

This idea that you don't deserve kindness or don't feel worthy is (for lack of a better word) self-destructive. You deserve these things as much as the person trying to offer it to you does. You are worth it. And if you need someone to tell you that, I am telling you that every ounce of you is worth it.

That title up there that I used to be such a firm believer of no longer applies to me. But there are still people out there that takes that quote to heart. Remember that the moment you ever decide to push someone away, that they might not be willing to fight for your approval because they know what it's like to be tossed aside, to beg, to be stuck between "Should I keep going or should I just drop it". Is this even worth it anymore? What am I doing?". That's why they hold this quote so close to their hearts.

Don't push someone away because you're afraid. Vulnerability may be the core of shame, fear and our struggle for worthiness. But it's also the birth place of joy, creativity, belonging and love. You have to have the willingness to say "I love you first", the willingness to do things that have no guarantee. You must have the courage to be imperfect.

You're depriving yourself of living by not meeting these desires. Don't keep yourself in this cycle of being unfulfilled. Our desire to be loved, seen, heard, respected, and understood by others is natural. We crave human connection and we can only get that if we are honest with ourselves first.

And for those who don't fight hard enough or contemplate on whether or not they should continue to pursue someone who seems like they don't want you in their life..."nothing good comes easy". If someone pushes you away, understand that it's not always personal. It just may be a way they cope with certain things. And in most cases those certain things to them are "too good to be true".
They want to connect with you more than anything, they want to feel comfortable around you, they want to know that you'll be there whether they push you away or pull you close. That is what they truly want. So please, if you care about this person, care to connect with this person, don't give up. Some people need you more than you need them. And I don't mean that in a way of superiority . Just keep your hand out a little longer, I'm sure they'll come around.

Breaking the cycle.

Fears are obstacles that inspire me to take risks beyond my zone of comfort. I love the rush because it gives me the seeds I need to grow new ideas. I conquer unknown territory with all the faith I put into my decisions. But my actions aren’t always scripted. Sometimes I like to free fall because whether the end result is positive or negative, I’ll be okay with it because its an experience; a moment in time I captured, a memory, a story that’s now mine that I can revisit & share at any given time. I want to remember my days because of how unique each one was.

Being able to follow a pattern means you’re persistent but too much of that and your days become a blur; an insignificant part in your timeline you can’t recall because it’s not important to you. If you find yourself stuck in a pattern of unhappiness, it’s important to first acknowledge that you are unhappy. Or maybe you just aren’t satisfied with what you’re doing. Breaking patterns opens up new paths

Understanding the value of self-worth & getting the most out of this thing we call life is something that shouldn’t be ignored. If you truly cared about yourself you wouldn’t live just to suffer. Luck & inspiration is out there, you just have to be willing to walk away from the familiar and take a step towards enlightenment.
Being stuck in a loop will slowly make you deteriorate, trust me. And sometimes it’s not even physical patterns but mental ones.

Perspective makes you look at a glass of water in a particular way. The more perspective you have, the more open your mind is to the “new” & the “different”. Sometimes you just need to open your eyes to everything around you in order to find those little hints of happiness you couldn’t see before. And once you can appreciate those hints… I think you just might have found what it’s like to truly be happy & not just content. The ability to appreciate is to understand the true value of something. Appreciation and love are like soul mates. Put those two together and I think happiness isn’t too far away.

I never want to be the person who wakes up going to a job they hate

I don’t understand why people settle for bullshit. We can all amount to something great, but most people just can’t picture themselves being anywhere than where they already are. Why is that? Did bills and responsibilities hit them so hard that they’ve come to the conclusion that there is nothing left to gain? The best day is pay day? What kind of life is that? What happened to all those dreams you had when you were younger? How could you sit back and let someone else take your spot? I see it as you can continue to live the way you are, working and praying for a pay raise just so you can make it through life, or aim for something less comfortable but has a better pay off now and later. Because nothing beats the thrill of risks and carving one’s own destiny the way they want it. You put in 40+ hrs a week doing some low-skilled job that will most likely be replaced by robots between 10-20 years. So what exactly are you doing? Ask yourself that. Strive to live the way you want. It’s worth the struggle.
